PITTED
CASTELVETRANO OLIVES

Castelvetrano Olives - also known as Nocellara del Belice olives - are only grown in southwest Sicily, but they are loved all over the world for their fleshy texture and nutty-buttery flavor. Castelvetranos are large olives that are hand-picked before they completely ripen, giving them a naturally bright, green color.

Our family has been growing 100% sustainably farmed Castelvetrano olives for five generations. We carefully pick each olive by hand to protect the color, flavor, and texture from bruising as well as oxidation. After picking, we cure the olives, remove the pits, and preserve them with natural sea salt from Trapani, in South West Sicily.

With their soft texture and mild flavor, pitted olives are perfect for cooking. Use them to make tapenade, chop them up, sprinkle them on pizza or pasta, or roast them with chicken or fish.

Most Bang for your Buck

I absolutely love these olives and originally bought them at the grocery store . I wanted to buy them in bulk to cut down on costs and this did just exactly that. These olives were just as good in terms of flavor, but size wise they were much larger.
